Umar M. Bawa was born on January 1, 1998, in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Nigeria. He began his political journey in 2012 under the mentorship of the late Engr. Aliyu Idris Lalo (Durbin Gusau). Before the death of his mentor, Umar continued the political movement and became the Chairman of the Lalo Social Media Organization (LASMO) in 2017.
His dedication and leadership later led him to play an active role in political mobilization and youth media advocacy across Zamfara State. From 2023 to the present, he has been at the forefront of establishing and leading youth-focused political and social groups. Umar M. Bawa is a young, dynamic, and visionary leader with extensive experience in media coordination, political mobilization, and youth engagement.
